Each year  lots of people are reported missing to Pathanamthitta Police. Most are found, with more than half simply failing to tell their families where they are. Some people deliberately want to stay 'lost' and a small number are victims of foul play.


If a Relative is Missing

If you hold genuine fears for the safety of a family member or friend, contact your local police station (listed here) as soon as possible. Take along as much information as you can, including a recent photograph, banking records, and as much detail as possible on where, when and with whom they were last seen. Police will start making inquiries, and will keep you informed as the search progresses.
