A separate Cell is functioning under a Dy S P to detect offences under Kerala Abkari Act and Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substance Act(NDPS Act). Narcotic cell has been started functioning in Pathanamthitta district with effect from 15-3-96.
        At present Sri. Sethunath, Dy.S.P is the officer in charge of the Narcotic cell, Pathanamthitta. The cell is at present working in the District police office building. Any information about the drug trafficking can be directly passed on to the Dy.S.P, Narcotic cell, Telephone No. 0468-2222664 or to the Crime stopper No 1090.
