Pathanamthitta Police Department Overview

The Pathanamthitta District Police Department serves and protects the 2642 Sq. KMs of the District. Officers patrol 1457.90 Sq. KMs of district, maintaining the offensive in the prevention of crime. An enhanced 1090 emergency telephone number with computer-aided Crime Stopper enables the Police Department to maintain a quick response time throughout the District.

The District has the authorized strength of 122 Police officers, 1023 Police personnel  and a 52 member ministerial support staff. The Police Department is also committed to developing and nourishing positive relationships with business by promoting crime prevention.
